As an actor Jon Breakfield has worked in films and TV
with Jack Lemmon, David Niven, Bill Cosby, Harvey Korman, Peter Lawford,
Chad Everett, Mike Connors, Bill Bixby, Jerry Stiller, Susan Saint
James, Raymond Burr, Gene Barry and Robert Stack.
Breakfield managed the LA Film Actors Lab, formerly
Hollywood's top acting school, and was a 'reader' for Thompson-Paul
Productions, the production company that produced the Academy Award
winning motion picture The Paper Chase, the TV series The
Paper Chase, and the motion picture The Mark of Zorro.
Having studied acting with Lee Strasberg and Justin
Smith in Hollywood, the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco
and screenwriting with Dr. Linda Seger at the Writers' Guild in
Hollywood, Jon Breakfield understands the nuances of what it takes to
write a commercial screenplay from the side of the actor, writer and
producer.
